Presenters, Kim Shepherd and Kathryn Tyree, will speak on the open data initiative, local and international trends on OSS-IR, transformation and collaboration on metadata standards and supporting local research in the post-COVID economic era.
Kathryn Tyree is the Koha Services Manager at Catalyst IT. Over 12 years this has grown from supporting a dozen Koha libraries using Koha ILS to around 100 libraries. They are now expanding to other open-source systems such as DSpace and VuFind discovery. Kim Shepherd is a freelance developer in Auckland with over 15 years working with repositories and 23 years of systems and development experience.
