Libraries are diverse and serve a variety of communities within a rapidly changing information environment. Ensuring the sustainability of the sector is an essential reason for strengthening workforce capability.
Thanks to the New Zealand Libraries Partnership Programme (NZLPP) new tools have been developed for library and information professionals. The Te Tōtara, Workforce Capability Framework is available as a free resource on the National Library of New Zealand website.
Te Tōtara is designed to help kaimahi working in the library sector think about their current level of knowledge and capability, identify areas of growth, to strengthen a diverse library and information sector workforce. Join this webinar where we kōrero and bring Te Tōtara to life, through the lived experience of everyday librarians.
Facilitated by Carla Jeffrey, Expert Advisor Te Ao Māori National Library of New Zealand who will chat with current Whiria te Tāngata kākaho from a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences within the library sector.
Please use the register button to RSVP and the Zoom link and password for the session will be emailed to you.
This session will be recorded & uploaded to the LIANZA YouTube Channel within a few days of the event date.
