LIBRARIES AND THE FUTURE FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT WORKSHOP
Tuesday May 10 at 11AM-1 PM

review into the future of local government is underway and libraries will play a vital role in enabling local government to create a future for communities to prosper and thrive. This independent Ministerial review is an opportunity to create a new system of local governance and democracy that will effectively respond to a changing New Zealand.

LIANZA and PLNZ want libraries to be engaged in this important mahi and for our sector’s voice to be heard.

PLNZ and LIANZA are working with the Department of Internal Affairs to run this workshop with the library and information sector which will feed into thinking on how libraries will contribute to the five key shifts identified for the future of local government.

Join your colleagues for this interactive workshop and we will send you questions to think about prior to the workshop, which will assist with discussions.
