LIANZA invites you to meet-up and brainstorm ideas for the Books Alive events and virtual storytimes your library could host to celebrate the 2020 New Zealand Book Awards for Children and Young Adults. LIANZA looks to libraries to engage children, youth and whānau in the best of NZ children’s literature weeks prior to the NZ Book Awards for Children and Young Adults awards ceremony on August 12. Your library is invited to submit Books Alive event plans to promote the finalists and to register your virtual storytimes.
Come and ask your questions, share your ideas and let’s demonstrate the essential role of libraries in engaging communities in all parts of New Zealand.
