LIANZA RESEARCH SIG - SHOULD I STAY OR SHOULD I GO? GETTING OFF THE FENCE & GOING TO CONFERENCE
Wednesday April 5, 12NOON - 1PM

Are you thinking about heading to a conference this year? Are you still on the fence and not sure whether to submit an application? Would you like to know more about the different types of conference presentations and why people would like to hear what you’ve got to say? Come along to the webinar to hear more about these topics and to hear from other folks who are also thinking about applying to present this year. Rob and Jo from LIANZA RES SIG are experienced presenters and will be covering topics including:

  • Why go to conferences at all?
  • Making the decision to submit
  • Telling your story and pitching it to your audience
  • Types of presentation
  • Imposter syndrome
  • Resources available to help with preparation

To encourage conversation, we will not be recording the session, but we will provide a document that covers all the talking points and provides links to online resources.
