Join our distinguished guest Erik Boekesteijn, a Senior Advisor at the National Library of the Netherlands, Library Avenger, Board member at StoryHouse (Chester, UK), Fellow LIS (Syracuse, USA), Consultant @ PL 2020, Founder of PL 2030 (Brussels, EU) and IFLA Consultant. Erik has been voted a LJ's Mover and Shaker of the Library World in 2009 and Best Librarian in the Netherlands in 2015.

Erik has worked with architects such as Zaha Hadid, Francine Houben, Stewart & Hollenstein and others on the design and development of libraries in many countries around the world.

In this webinar, Erik will introduce insights and innovative ideas around libraries as “third spaces” and “spaces for all”, with examples from the British National Library, Storyhouse (UK), libraries in the Netherlands, an underground library in Australia, and more. Trends, challenges, and opportunities in the design of Library spaces and services will be discussed.
