LIANZA CLIMATE ACTION GROUP

At the first LIANZA Climate Action Group meeting on Dec 8, people shared their ideas on three questions:

• what is happening already in libraries to respond to the climate crisis?
• what other actions can libraries take ?
• what can LIANZA do to support libraries to take action?

Our next steps may be to form a LIANZA Standing Committee on Climate Action driven by engaged members. Other ideas were a LIANZA Statement on Climate Action and a library sustainability challenge.
