LIANZA TEL SIG: RECRUITMENT IN NEW ZEALAND LIBRARY & INFORMATION SERVICES - AN OPEN DISCUSSION
Thursday February 24 @ 12NOON

LIANZA TEL SIG Committee warmly invite you to join us for our first webinar of the year where we’re hosting an open discussion on hiring and retention, finding the right talent and skill sets in LIS/Library sector at present times and any employment-related matters. We hope to cover such questions as:

Have you been busy recruiting? How do you attract and retain staff? What skillsets are currently sought after? What challenges do you come up against?

Our guest panellists include:

  • Marcus Harvey (Manager Subject Librarians, Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington) – hiring manager perspective
  • Jane Kostanich (TEU Organiser) – TEU perspective
  • Dr Jennifer Campbell-Meier (Senior Lecturer School of Information Management, Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington) – MIS, new graduates and early career perspective
  • NZLPP Capabilities Framework representative - tbc

We look forward to you sharing your experiences and hearing from others in our community.

All welcome.
