LIANZA TE UPOKO O TE IKA A MĀUI WEBINAR – EXPLORING BURNOUT IN LIBRARY STAFF DURING TIMES OF CRISIS – REBECCA HASTIE
Tuesday February 15 @ 12PM

LIANZA’s Te Upoko o te Ika a Māui region would like to invite you to join us to watch Rebecca’s presentation from the LIANZA Conference and participate in a discussion with her afterwards.

Burnout is an occupational phenomenon resulting from chronic workplace stress. Burnout has been identified in various library work environments, yet research into libraries during times of crisis focuses on actions taken by library staff without considering the experiences or emotions of staff.

Times of crisis are likely to provoke increased stressors. By sharing the stories of library staff who have worked during a time of crisis, this presentation will provide a better understanding of the multifaceted ways that times of crisis can affect library staff and their risk of burnout.

You wont want to miss this presentation and we appreciate Rebecca being able to join us for a question and answer discussion afterwards.
