LIANZA TE WHAKAKITENGA AA KAIMAI - NETWORKING MORNING WITH LIANZA PRESIDENT ANAHERA MOREHU
Markyles Food & Coffee Est. & Hamilton Central Library - Friday May 14 7.30am & 10am

Join us for a networking breakfast, then you are invited to a morning tea and a chat with LIANZA President Anahera Morehu at Hamilton Central Library. This is your chance to get those burning questions about LIANZA answered!

Ko Ranginui te tuanui, ko Papatuānuku te paparahi
Ko ngā maunga, ngā poupou, e kore e nekeneke
He uri ahau o te Whare tapu o Ngāpuhi

Anahera is currently the Kaiārahi at the University of Auckland (UoA) Faculty of Business and Economics. Prior to that she was the Kaiwhakahaere Toi Aronui me Māori me Moananui-a-Kiwa at Te Tumu Herenga, UoA.

In her imaginary remaining spare time she is a Ngā Kaiwhakahau member (National Council) of Te Rōpū Whakahau, on the LIANZA Professional Registration Board, Māori Subject Headings Governing Group and previously served four years as LIANZA Hikuwai Regional Councillor.

Anahera says, "Over the years I have actively contributed to, and participated in, various professional development opportunities, regional, national and international events, advocated on behalf of members, promoted LIANZA offerings, hosted conferences, judged on panels, and other various duties. I will be proud to further realise LIANZA’s vision statement of people and communities connected and empowered by information. He tangata, or people are the heart of our profession, and like the Māori proverb says, it is the most important thing in the world. He aha te mea nui o te ao? He tangata, he tangata, he tangata. I am humbled to contribute to strengthening our people, our members to be innovative and responsive to current and future information needs."

Come and meet with colleagues from across our region, and chat with Anahera.
