LIANZA WEBINAR - LIBRARIES IN TIMES OF ECONOMIC DOWNTURN
Wednesday July 29, 1PM.

What can history show us about how libraries adapt to support their users in times of economic downturn? Join Dr Lara Sanderson as she discusses the literature review completed for LIANZA. Then participate in a discussion about how this knowledge may assist your library in responding to the needs you are identifying in your community; and how the report can support your advocacy to key stakeholders.

The aim of the literature review was to provide key evidence-based learning that can be used for advocacy and was supported by the LIANZA community contestable fund.

Lara holds a PhD from Otago University and two Masters degrees from Victoria University of Wellington including a double major in Archives and Records Management & Library Sciences, and her thesis explored the experiences of rural library and library volunteers in Otago and Southland.
